Ralph Richard Banks https://law.stanford.edu/directory/ralph-richard-banks/, professor of law at Stanford University, discusses a new project which will offer a critique of how we think about race, class, affirmative action policies, higher education, and the admissions process, and specifically addresses recent Supreme Court cases concerning these issues such as Fisher v. University of Texas. This presentation was part of the RICSRE Faculty Seminar Series which features speakers from a wide variety of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, education, law, business, and medicine throughout the academic year. The event took place on December 5, 2013 at Margaret Jacks Hall, Stanford University.
